I know a lot of fans were happy that Cullen and Lily finally formed a couple in the second series (personally I felt it would happen eventually from the moment of their first encounter), only to be shattered when the Swede seemingly strangled her to death. It was painful watching him carry her lifeless body around. It was the second time he lost a woman he loved.
Yet some fans I know hope she is still alive, which I admit is plausible - closing the windpipe doesn't necessarily guarantee death. So now that we know there will be a third season, I open it up - do you think she might return? Personally, I admit it is highly unlikely, but I'll keep hope that maybe she will - and be reunited with Cullen.
